Urghhh... Damn....

Rotten, murky dubwise journeys through middle eastern sounds, ruffneck rhythms and headsy, hallucinogenic soundscapes, from two fierce legends of the UK underground DIY scene from around Yorkshire and Manchester in the 90s -

Muslimgauze aka Bryn Jones should need no introduction to anyone who's done at least a bit of digging, and Rootsman will be a name that clued up soundsystem heads will know - his connection (& collaboration) with Iration Steppas, and his solo output via his Third Eye label are an inspiration for sure, and it's always good to see the borders of dub being broken further apart and taken into new territories, something the Rootsman was doing before many others did.

City of Djinn, the 2nd archival album reissue from the Via Parigi label, was originally out on CD via Third Eye, but here we get the full thing on vinyl across two discs, including all the hits.

Come and get your synapses re-arranged whilst travelling time and place with sound.

vinyl-only,
double disc LP.
