Massive reissue incl. previous unreleased dubplate cut, and brand new JA version w/ Slashe –

Donovan Germain in the production hot-seat on this one, coming with the early 80’s anti-authoritarian ‘Mr Bossman’ by Cultural Roots. If you don’t own this one yet… You already have a good reason to consider this record. If you need further persuading: It comes with a previously unreleased dubplate version of the same tune as well. Rough & tough acetate (previously) one-off dubplate styles.

And if you need extra fresh ammo to go with this classic piece, then you are being looked after nicely on the flip of this record, where Germain signs up new JA talent ‘Slashe’ to re-visit a re-worked version of this evergreen rhythm.
He holds his own with not just one, but two vocal styles – with ‘Keep On Walking’ he holds a message about holding your head up high, and follows this with ‘As The World Keeps turning’ – a dedication to the Windrush generation – the generation of caribbeans who came to the UK in times of need after WW2, and of which many are facing totally unfair deportation now, under the Conservative, post-brexit government here.

Absolutely crucial rhythm!!!!!

Served in fresh disco bag.
