The main event after that wicked Pan Sonic 7″ that dropped some months back, peerless selector DJ Nobu heads up the Beyond Space and Time label (the record label of Rainbow Disco Club or RDC if you prefer, a festival active in Japan for over a decade).

This double disc package includes that Pan Sonic cut if you missed the 7″ as well as 9 other choice cuts ostensibly compiled from Nobu’s enviable collection – The timeless ‘Water Planet’ from Laurent Garnier, two appearances from Kimmo Rapatti, once as Mono Junk with the motorik box-jam funk of ‘Beyond The Darkness’ and secondly with the delightfully sludgy and paranoid spaces of ‘Plenty Of Love’ as Melody Boy 2000.

As we hit the second plate, there’s a proper bit of peak time NRG from Drax Ltd II with “Amphetamine”, the more introspective electro stylings of ‘3rd From The Sun’ from Dan Curtin and of course, the bookend to the comp that is ‘Archangel’ from Burial, I mean, you probably don’t need to listen to it again but hey, it’s there if you need it…
