Excellent four track EP by Rashad on Hyperdub –

Spread over two discs, Hyperdub present us with four accomplished Rashad productions, including two collaborations with the legendary DJ Spinn and DJ Manny.

From ‘Rollin’ –  the R&B tinged banger that makes the title track, to the Jungle / Hardcore flavoured ‘Let It Go’ on the B side, it’s all killer, no filler on this EP.

Skip to the next Disc and the drum-filled collaboration with DJ Manny awaits, a superbly reduced track that let’s the drums shuffle over a pitched up boogie-synth and rhodes in a very cool way.

‘Broken Hearted’ sees Rashad team up with Spinn for a smooth piece of footwork-sample madness… never easing off on the low-end, no matter how laid-back the melodies move.

Top stuff.
All pressed to 45rpm heavyweight 12″s and served in a shrinkwrapped picture sleeve.
