Killer Earl 16 cuts unearthed on Channel One, via Digikiller in NYC –

The veteran singer Earl Sixteen needs little introduction, he has cut his teeth recording with the finest in Jamaican music, and he still remains relevant in the soundsystem scene many years on.
It’s nice to find a new (old) cut from the Earl, recorded at the legendary Channel One studio in Kingston from around 1984, and these still hit hard, no doubt!

Nighthawk Rider on one side, the vocal is followed by a raw dubwise piece – listen to those machine drums echo’ing throughout!
heavyweight early dancehall.

On the flip we have Music Machine, plus the dub –
both absolutely killer, once more!

Cut on purple wax.
