The Lehult crew smash it again with this superb and varied collection of tracks from Eddie Ness and the unstoppable Liem.

After his track ‘If Only’ became something of a hit not long ago, Liem has crafted a brilliantly executed catalog of trax spanning house and techno. Eddie Ness, another Lehult regular, debuted on the label last year with another split 12” with Liem and Johan Kaseta.

Here, Ness and Liem craft three completely unique House tunes; Holy Grail on the A oscillates between groovy drum trip and trippy mindf*ck – a DVS1-esque bouncing synth line detunes and pans wildly as the drums keep things moving forward.

2nd track JRP is the tuffer than tuff one – bursts of white noise are offset against hypnotic tribal rhythms and meaty bass stab before it all breaks down into a Dub-techno-IDM hybrid about halfway in before suddenly careering back into a full on tribal ting before you’ve even had time to get used to it – quality.

Last up is Kevinteen Melbourne Shuffle on a sunnier, melody-laden tip – full of rich harmony, subtle atmospheric shifts and off-the-cuff drum edits that elevate it from quality to essential.
