‘Floor Weapons Vol.1 is the eagerly anticipated full PRESSURE debut from Nagasaki based anarcho-dub punks G36. Featuring the instrumental cut of the highly sought after ‘Vex Riddim’ which provided the backing track for NAZAMBA’s recent killer 12”, plus three more apocalyptic dub explosions that come across like Mark Stewart + Maffia cutting dubplates with Underground Resistance…

Translating the vibes of Jah Shaka, Iration Steppas and Aba Shanti-I, into alien bassbin punishers, G36 have chosen to fiercely mess with Roots, whilst consciously steering away from the stale formulas of conventional reggae. The resulting tracks channel the pummelling attack of stripped back steppas rhythms vis their passion for manga, science fiction and S&M, into brutally overdriven, ballistic dancefloor weapons.’
