In form of this hand-stamped, heavyweight 12″ from the Unit137 corner comes a rough and ready 2014 rework of the 1988 hit tune by the Loving Pauper…

The A side builds from a ragga hip hop, early 90s style rhythm, proceeding to introduce a fresh GWZ vocal homage to Gregory Isaacs, ascending into half-step jungle territory, ram-jammed with siren shots, bursts of bassline and drum breaks, a sure shotter on a sound system, no doubt.

Flip it for a cutting digi-dancehall re-lick by Adam Prescott, closer to the original rhythm but injected with a nice amount of filtered bassline and rumours style orchestral stabs.

For all the versionists – we find the instrumental cut of the Ghost Writerz Rework finishing off the disc in it’s rhythmical glory.
