Our friend Ross from Bathtub Prints, the screen printing studio down the road from us,

gave us a handful of these tapes from his Bumtapes imprint.
Real local underground DIY gear right here.

Recorded in 2012 in Bristol & Berlin, musically, Klare Tage hits those hallucinogenic frequencies that we loved so much about the latest Unearth Noise on Lullabies For Insomniacs, all whilst drawing for a more rugged and off-the-cuff offside post-punk / shoegaze approach.
Overblown ring modulation, distant vox and red-lined, muffled guitar are shot straight through an array of stompboxes whilst the sounds shift and move freely - the whole thing feels very drawn out and emotive, nothing is over-polished but exactly this is what makes it feel so raw & honest.
Totally engrossing stuff, a real headsy trip into the outskirts of the bruk-up echo chamber.

Last but not least, the presentation for this one is bloody good!
That screenprinted inlay will probably glow in the dark if you turn the lights off.

Limited to 30 cassettes.
