Straight outta Hamburg, and over to Bristol straight from the Lehult HQ!

The dastardly duo Liem and Eddie Ness join forces on Lehult once again – the label and pairing have been on a hot streak since ’14, releasing some of the most refreshing house-related music over a relatively prolific span of 12 inch singles and EPs considering the timeframe.

This cassette, then, marks something of a fresh twist for the crew. Not only is it an album, but it sees the already leftfield sensibilities of Liem and Ness expanded upon and developed – providing a wider range of styles that still echo with the same dubwise approach that underpinned their short-play leanings. On nowhere is this more clear than tracks 2 & 3, D! Bodytalk and Tower of Terror II.

On both, the pair somehow provide wonderfully danceable rhythms that nestle in acres of negative space. The effect is an enticing combination of moods, which, instead of pushing and tugging at each other, blend together to create an atmosphere that pervades through all the tracks following,

In the process, they seem to have created an album which is not only an essential listen, but also has perhaps the most apt title of all time. Support from the likes of Ben UFO & Kerri Chandler. Say no more!
