Logos touches down on BH with this trio of belters on the ‘Fifth Monarchy’ EP.

Stepping beyond the bounds of the weightless realm that his productions have been exploring over the last few years and pairing that sonic aesthetic with precision crafted, minimalist drum work – this ep is a real treat.

Opening with the eski indebted, er ‘Eska’ – drawing lines between 03 grime and ’14 Different Circles white labels to get effect. ‘Dust’ is a proper highlight for us – touching on the fringes of dub techno & Bristol/Berlin axis dubstep a-la 2009 to create something greater than the sum of it’s parts – worth the price of admission just for that bassline alone.

‘Ghosting’ opens the flip side with it’s widescreen pads and bruising kick drum. Ossia offers up his blinding remix of the lead track – if you’ve caught him playing recently you’ll be very familiar with it no doubt and desperate to get yer hands on it – for those that haven’t – you’re in for a real treat!

Vital gear from start to finish on this plate, lastly sleeve design too – don’t sleep.
