Om Unit’s Mahakala alias returns with the second installment of the Mahakala trilogy.

‘Tomahawk’ on the A side is a hypnotic dancefloor stepper complete with dread inducing technoid sound design, and a rolling feel in the drums, with elements of techstep and jungle fused into a solidified concrete Junglist weapon.

The flip sees Mahakala transform into a spaced out drumfunk workout, taking the ‘alligator boogalo’ break to new heights over a pastel soundscape, with moments of tension and release that create the cerebral workout that is ‘The Realms’.
