A surprise entry from Mosca on Livity, showing again how mercurial his talents are – after spins at poppy garage and full-on Berlin techno, he now lands in a middle ground between Berlin and UK with this pair of dubbed out tribal rollers.

Both tracks share an affinity for old-school dub FX; sirens, massive delays and liberal use of spring reverb pepper the nimble rhythms of Don’t Take This The Wrong Way, which hits a slightly higher bpm count than Livity’s usual fair.

B side Peyote Stitch has been a staple of Peverelist’s record bag for some time, and dodged an ID for quite some time – its earworm melody and shuffling house rhythm demonstrating Mosca’s obvious knack for making the kind of track that sticks with you for a while after the fact. Like its A side counterpart, a huge dose of personality is injected through the stabs of dubbed-out squelches, bleeps and drones.
