The Hardwax affiliate explores the more minimal end of the dubstep sound with ‘Madness’, immediately calling to mind the early work of ‘Joe’ on Hessle (Grimelight for example), a dextrous percussion workout for the heads. On the flip side is ‘808 Dub’, a much more successful track with booming kick drums and crunch distortion – top stuff that has aged remarkably well, proper DJ tools for your record bag.
