Timewarping post-punk electronics & hi-nrg dancefloor tekkers from the archive of Special Interest’s Ruth Mascelli, with his solo project Psychic Hotline, collected & collated from the last half decade, via the good heads at DISCIPLES –

Feverish, acidic disco not disco punk type vibes on this one, across 14 cuts from the recent 5ish years of Psychic Hotline, culminating in ‘The Wild World Of Psychic Hotline’ – a raw & direct, loud & proud album harking back to a kind of 80’s industrial sound, concocted out of a wider sphere of early techno electronics and italo synth vibes, but equally laced with heaps of individual flavour and a kind of symphonic yet understated (bedroom) synth-pop arrangement and vocal charge that gives it a real good bit of rawness and a kind of timeless imminency at the same time.

Wicked stuff – best indulged in from start to finish for the full saturation of brain & body!

pro-dubbed and served on a good-lookin’ tape, designed by Studio Tape-Echo –
