New four tracker from the Rezzett duo on TTT – as always, a very welcome sight.

Maintaining their captivating blend of glassy melody and smashed,  scuzzy drums across the A side, loosely harnessing ghostly jungle atmospherics and emu sampled breaks and morphing them into new shapes for 2016.

The flip looks to other strains of mutant underground sonics with ‘Zik Zak’, sub zero eski-beat melodies paired with, again, contrastingly glowing drums seem to at once hark back to the mid 00s while looking forward to an as yet unchartered terrain – a real standout cut on the EP and a favourite around these parts.

Closing with the percolating pads and FX of ‘Noklue’, which is perhaps the most straight up cut on offer, those who dig Filter Dread and Tessela will batter this one.

Rezzett keep going from strength to strength, and, for our money, this is their best yet.
