Nice surprise in the post-box, unearthed 7″s from around 1997/98 –
These neatly presented records from the Dojo imprint got shipped over to us this week, a pleasant addition to our collection of underground, late 90’s dubwise music.
Initially released in a limited edition of 1000 copies, and now out of press –
each one of these comes served in a stamped & printed brown paper sleeve, along with an individually numbered OBI strip, with two cuts of Roots Control’s ‘Forward Roots’ pressed to white 7″ disc.
Musically, it’s a gritty and low-slung dub affair, driven by down-pitched samples and a growling bassline –
Proper smoked out dub music for the late night massive!
