To mark the 20th anniversary of their original release, Mark Ernestus and Moritz Von Oswald have repressed the classic string of Main Street releases that have firmly embedded themselves in the essential canon of global dance music, bridging the gap between the Jamaican Soundsystem music, house and the classic, technofied Basic Channel Sound that began their mind-bendingly influential careers.

Round Three features the instantly recognisable vocal efforts of Tikiman aka Paul St. Hilaire, who’s lent his voice to decades of the most forward-thinking soundsystem crossovers, including collaborations with Sub Version that fell under the broad dubstep umbrella of the mid-noughties – wicked tunes as well.

Here, his style complements the hazed-out dub-techno groove like hand-in-glove. For DJs, this record is a dream – the B side comes with two edits (instrumental & vocal) that provide the kind of variety that allows for deployment in almost any situation.

If you don’t own this record already, now’s your chance – the advent of these records’ 20th anniversary puts into perspective how little this series has actually aged, and we’re incredibly pleased to see them re-issued. Big tip!
