This one is a bit special…

After 15 years out of press ‘Ship Scope’ was back on peoples radar after DDS released the archival album by Japanese artist Shinichi Atobe last year. Soon after, original copies of the second to last 12″ on the seminal Chain Reaction label upped scope and snorted onto discogs at 400 quid a pop… Thankfully, then, DDS did us all a favour and secured the rights to repress this hugely underrated slab of blueprint dub-techno, remastered and cut by Matt Colton.

This one is a no brainer if you dig the likes of Maurizio, Substance and Vainqueur, Rod Modell et all. From the galactic rip currents of the title track to the more rugged and masterfully executed ‘Plug & Play’ it’s a 4 tracker of nothing but quality – they just don’t make it like they used to!
