Third up in a series of valuable re-issues from the Skanna DAT tape archives, reportedly rooting through cupboards at his parents house to unearth the tapes that led to this re-issue series.
This one came out back in 1995 and, in our opinion, is one of the most goosebumps inducing records from that era. Battered by the likes of LTJ Bukem amongst a long list of other A list Jungle DJs, it’s been slowly getting more and more pricy on Discogs.
That killer combo of chilling vocal sample and craftily chopped breaks sitting atop booming kicks is a tried and tested winner but, when that glassy melody finally kicks in, it’s when the magic really kicks in.
You’ve probably heard this one creeping up in a few of the archival jungle mixes only recently, and, if it’s not in your collection, now is the time. Just as relevant today as it was when released 20 odd years ago.
