Very last handful of these tapes containing material from the legendary US noise group Smegma, served up in DIY style via St. Petersburg’s Post Materialization Music –

Smegma have been prolific since forming in Pasadena, California in the early 70’s, and have been shapeshifting with tons of fluctuating band members & mainstays, such as Richard Meltzer, or even a cover version style linkup with Merzbow. Tons of mad good and lots of elusive -in the moment- stuff live and on labels from Pigface Records, to Birdman Records, Goaty Records to iDEAL, and now of course this ’17 PMM release, containing three extended cuts from live performances and an untitled one, all on a (very) free jazz & experimental tip.

No clips on this one, but you can trust us (and PMM of course) that this is v v good.

Tapes look bloody great too – if you’re doing DIY, this is how it’s done.
This is the very last handful to cherish before these vanish completely.
