Fully excellent rhythm excursions from Dario Picchi aka Soreab, the 2nd release on London’s ‘Baroque Sunburst’ imprint –

Across four tracks that feel like they sit perfectly between DJ weapon, home-listening and dancefloor smart bomb, the Kraepelin Avenue EP builds up beautifully from fourth world ambient percussive drama through to bruk techno soundsystem sonics, and into moodier, more intense rhythmic exercises.
On a whole, the 12″ comes off somewhere between a Burnt Friedman type of rhythm meditation and the pressurized polyrhythmic soundsystem sensibilites not a million miles off what the likes of Livity & Timedance are doing – and we’re very much into it.

Packaging is spot-on too –
300 copies in a yellow sleeve with silver/grey artwork, with poster insert packaged in a stickered poly sleeve.
