Big, big vocal version excursion on Spooky’s Haunted Joyride riddim –

That Haunted Joyride cut is a big instrumental, and it takes its inspiration from dancehall, which, coming out of Jamaica’s soundsystem scene, is of course no stranger to having several vocalists voice the same riddim.
If anything, the more vocalist voice that riddim, the higher the praise. We have four vocalists just on this record, so you can consider this one worthwhile for sure.

So with this little London somethin’, pushing that dancehall continuum with the grime world, long-time grime veteran Spooky has enlisted the versatile talents of some of the best in the game – Riko Dan, Mez, Nasty Jack & PK.
Names that don’t mess around, and who have in most cases proved their dedication to the scene since the early days of grime, back in the early 00’s.

So fxckin’ good!

If you want a proper piece of o.g. grime, with a greensleeves dancehall flavour – look no further.

P.S.: We also have the instrumental cut, backed with ‘General Riddim’ available on this site, so go find that if you like to have ‘the dub’.
