Heavily percussive 2nd cut on Blip Records –

Two rhythm-driven afro-centric house cuts from label boss Tom Blip, delivering a deeply grooving second disc on the label.
Both ‘Wrong Guanco’ and ‘Shekere’ are lead by it’s percussive elements, which provide a fluid and organic guideline for a weighty kick drum and deep bass to keep the body moving with ease – these are perfect club tools, but they stand up as solidly produced and cut tracks in their own right – equally at home in edit style and fashion a la Sofrito or Gilles Peterson, or in closer context with 4×4 club music.

Wrong Guanco and Shekere both pull their weight – it’s hard to find a favourite… But the ultra low slung demeanour, and the short burst breakdowns of ‘Wrong Guanco’ are sure to work some magic on the dancefloor.

…It’s a good one!
