Pure Mundell'ian big tunes from the the late 70's early 80's Volcano / Junjo / Scientist corner, compiled on this self titled LP via Greensleeves, with the late, great Hugh Mundell on vocals, leaving behind a trail of hits on some truly classic early rub a dub rhythms with his signature vocal style, laying down tunes such as Going Places, Jacqueline, Rasta Have The Handle, Red Gold And Green, and cementing his contributions to the Kingston scene in fine style, before he sadly got murdered, passing way too soon, in 1983.

Served up as a nice showcase style LP, with the vocals pressed to the LP, on nice Scientist mixed instrumentals from the Roots Radics, letting the vocal breathe into a little slice of version at the end.
This is a great, great record. Hugh Mundell's haunting, sweet and sincere style remains one of reggae's finest, and this album is proof. You'll be back for the rewind, whenever the mood calls for it, in due time, again and again.
