Dancehall massive listen up -

The Ambassadors of the digital era ' Steely & Cleevie' need no introduction to those into the sounds of the computerised era that followed on from the Digital explosion in the 80's.

Ruff and rugged drum machine and keyboard music with a production attitude that still sounds fresh to this day.

But don't be fooled by the electronic sounds of these tracks, although they were mostly made with hardware synths, samplers and drum machines, the musicianship and approach is still very human with these Steely & Clevie tracks.

From the rag-time / dancehall switch-up that is 'At The Top' to possibly one of the dopest versions of the infamous Stalag rhythm, this record is packed full with musical badness.

As well as the hands-on musicianship of the pair, you can find Dean Fraser on Sax, David Madden on Trumpet, and Engineers such as Bobby Digital  and Ossie Thomas at the buttons.
Undeniable riddims.

Recorded at Tuff Gong Studio, King Jammy Studio & Creative Sounds in Kingston
as well as The A Class Studio, London.

Sleeve Design and Artwork by: Orville 'Bagga' Case.
