Kings Chamber boss Hidden Operator going on a faraway-tour of newly imagined dancehall reaches, brilliantly obscuring the lines between tribal music, off-kilter sampling and computerized reggae -

Ghost in The Wires, the first LP on Kings Chamber, comes from Hidden Operator. Throughout the record, he squueezes fat & juicy analogue synths, big belly basslines, drum machine layers and the occasional bit of melodica across far-out recordings from tribal regions across the world, even managing to get the odd 90's sounding hip hop vox chop (edit: hang, did we just hear Tarzan?!) and a whole heap of sound-nuggets into the mesh.
Yes it's as weird as it sounds... but somehow he's pulled it off, with quite some finesse as well. The fluidity of H-O's parts and the way the external samples are dubbed into the midst of it all really makes it flow with a lot of style and great pace. It's a real intriguing listen, still very much a soundclash, but a highly original one, highly fun, and at times also pretty damn tough one at that!

All fans of 80s digital, Disrupt, Tapes, early electro, international sounds, dub experimentalism a la On:U Sound - look no further.
Everyone else... We dare you to take a trip!
