Andrea aka Fera handed us some copies of this tape in exchange for some RWDFWD goods at one of our recent crossings - this time in Berlin - the timing works out nicely, as we just got a box of Maple Death tapes and wax sent over too, so this fresh piece can be added to the pile, organically, naturally.

Organic would be one way to describe Fera's music - 'honest' would be another word we could happily throw in here. We know Andrea as a fluid, free flowing character that seems to equally inhale and exhale, kind of living and breathing music, cultural scenarios and other art forms such as illustration, both as an appreciator and a facilitator. We first met around Freakout Club in Bologna, where he makes waves with the Undecisimacasa collective - more recently we watched him go raw industrial with Jon from Maple Death as Terminal Archive, and then some weeks later we gazed out onto the wide berlin streets through Laden2's glass walls as Fera unleashed highly emotive freeform drones and melodies from an effective, and decidedly minimalistic setup.

This tape 'Divora Eco' falls into the second type scenario, with fragile, minimalistic bruised drones singing songs of melancholy, perfectly soundtracking the search for moments of sweet life within the dystopia of our current world. Raw tones and synthesized harmonics are accentuated by Fera's hands-on approach, and then given further emotive value via tape degradation and amplifier re-recording. This is music for now, music for the moment you're in. Press play and you'll be taken into it's realm. You'll  swim within. Music to switch off to, and then switch on with.

Limited copies, just a handful available here for those who want one.

Beautiful tape design too, with drawings by Adri Mareneo and with a subtle handstamp on each cassette.
