Mira's 'Erica' album, on tape, via Maple Death -
We got a handful of copies here for those who want to dive into the depths of this piece, comprised of 'six vignettes' which swirl and unfurl through minimalistic tear jerk moments made up of raw violin melodies, synthlines, flutes, sparse vocal moments and unlikely percussion - there is a feeling of vastness in this music, a truly open spaced, yet fully intimate and 'close' listening experience, that'll hit you like a fresh breeze on a hot, sticky, humid day.

"Based between Rome and Torino the violinist and composer is a beloved figure in the Italian underground community, a result of her many collaborations with Heart Of Snake, Il Quadro di Troisi and her involvement with the Misto Mame collective. Her path has always been at the intersection between classical work, improv, theatre and performative art"

This makes sense to us - the music feels like it's telling a story, depicting something.
It's strong stuff, and we reckon this'll sound pretty good on your tape player, giving space for reflection and melancholy, yet lightfooted moods, even during dark days.
