Here's a special something, raw, real and DIY and made up of a real-world happening, outside of the scope of social media bubbles and online hype - a group of musicians from Bristol and Turin linked up in Italy, crashing the gate of DIY venue and cultural hub Asile, and Radio Blackout, and El Paso following an invitation to make noise and sound together, and just jam and connect.

After a week of intense multi room jamming (followed by loose cooking, drinking and karaoke jams into the late hours), the outcome is this 90minute cassette which was put together from many hours of raw, improvised mind-meeting on synths, microphones, guitars, pianos, laptops and whatever else could be used to enthuse.

Franco Franco was in the place, Franc and Valeria aka Lengling and Mildred were in the place. Ms Bhutan was in the place. Miles from Bokeh Versions was in the place, Young Echo's Jasmin and Ossia were in the place. Ojoo was in the place. Damn, the list goes on: mrvgn was in the place... NOT390993, Arsider and Rico were in the place. Ing Solazzi was in the place... You see what we're getting at here? It was a true mash of minds and hearts, and the outcome is a truly honest collage of experimental music, made in the moment.

All heads who care about real, raw expression and underground connection through music, and the scenes we build from it... this document is a valid testament.

Speaking of valid testament... please read what the Misto Mame, Arsider, Light Item, Music To Come and ATC crew state about this project - the words are real, and hit truthfully.

"Our choice is political
Eroded wages, amputated imagination, war normalized into daily routine. Cultural institutions—hollow simulacra—reduce every gesture to a storefront spectacle. Europe and the UK are unraveling before our eyes. It is within this condition that High Density Gathering situates itself: a dense weave of collectives inside the empire of enforced individuality.
Our practice is mutualistic
Every shared resource becomes resistance: time, energy, machines, voice. In times of scarcity, mutual aid is no longer a concept but an elementary condition of survival. It is the air that circulates when the windows have been sealed. In an epoch that monetizes even silence, defending independence means defending the very possibility of collective existence.
Our aesthetics are a strategy
High density means rejecting productive bulimia, the endless chain of outputs that feed only momentary appetites engineered by algorithms. We have chosen slow processes, frictions, the affirmation of difference. We care for what resists assimilation, what cannot be folded into the immediate flow of consumption. We search for fissures in the fortress: experiments in coexistence that elude neutralization, small architectures of insubordination.
Our geography is counter-hegemonic
The Bristol–Turin corridor requires no recognition. It is an oblique line traced far from the centers, against the geography of capital. Capitals drain funds and visibility; peripheries are sacrificed as grey zones to be managed. From these wounds an alliance emerges: not vertical, not programmed, but able to cross borders and survive the customs officers of the present.
Our time is now
We began with a device to generate abundance within scarcity—abundance of relations, of encounters, of exchange, of hybridization—and it became a vital exercise in survival, a prototype of culture without patrons. Density within crisis, autonomy within catastrophe.
Our time is neither future nor promised elsewhere: it happens now, in the dust of places that resist.
