Righteous, important piece of action for Palestine from Bologna, documented here on tape via Maple Death.

We salute every action that has been taken, and are continued to be taken. Silence is violence, noise is necessary. Now, and always.

>> We'll be donating our side of profits from this tape sale to a charity called H.I.R.N. based in Hebron and around Massafer Yata. In hope that they can counteract the barbed wire fence recently put up by settlers and Israeli army around the bedouin village of Umm Al-Khair - stopping the local children from reaching their school.

“Bologna for Palestine - Non-Stop Electroacoustic Improv” documents a live music relay with 17 musicians based in Bologna in support of the Palestinian population.
A three hour performance condensed into 20 excerpts that showcase the vital experimental scene of the city, from elegiac ambient bliss to pummeling noise, technoid mutations, sinister jazz, spoken word transfigurations, low thump grooves, vocal manipulations, desert guitars, alien IDM and collective chants. Furious, enraged and on point.

The initiative was in collaboration with Arci Bologna ("Con altri occhi" campaign) and ARTISTS AGAINST APARTHEID global movement. It was documented by the filmmaking group Lele Marcojanni and was live streamed by Impulse Response on Fango Radio (Italy) and Radio Alhara (Palestine).
