More remix version excursion via Pressure Sounds, this time two stellar roots cuts from Bunny Lee & his flexible Aggrovators band gets the re-lick from Paolo Baldini -

"4 heavyweight dub remixes of two brutal Bunny Lee rhythms laid in the early 80s by an updated Aggrovators, featuring Sly and Robbie. First are two sticky, twisting re-works of the “Enter Into His Gates” rhythm synonymous with singer Johnny Clarke.
And on the flipside two involving dubs of Jackie Edwards’ sweet but powerful “Come Dub Me Girl” from 1981.
The LP cuts were mixed by Prince Jammy at King Tubby’s Studio, but the remixes on this release come from Paolo Baldini, whose ‘Dubfiles’ projects at his Alambic studio has caught the mood of younger reggae aficionados as well as the more traditional reggae crowd.

Baldini has built a solid reputation for high quality mixing based around his extensive work in both Jamaica and Europe, and these four sinuous dubs show a restless imagination and crisp mixing skills that can sit proudly alongside the work of the original dub masters."

Undeniably great.
Always good to hear more versions (and tuff ones at that!) of 'Enter The Gates' with what is probably one of the greatest rhythms out there - ooooph, that bassline - pure cool.
And the dubs to 'Come To Me' (especially Part 2!) are supreme too. Real good stuff.

The 10” comes in a re-cycled special 10' version of the Dubbing in the front yard lp sleeve.
