A lesson from the father -

Bunny Wailer was there from the foundation days, his respect didn't have to be earned by the time it came to the dancehall explosion in 80's Kingston, he had already earned his stripes in previous decades as a producer and musician that helped shape reggae music.

This track from 1986/7, shows Bunny Wailer laying down the rules, resisting the trend of 'computer music' in this time, he brings in the Roots Radics Band for some accomplished dancehall musicianship.

A quick listen to the vocal will cement his sentiments 'Come mek weh show you how fe ram dancehall, come mek we show you how we fe rule them all... East, west north and south, it is I who rule the land. I play original style while others play version…'
