Great LP from 1979, Capital Letters, Greensleeves Records -

In our opinion one of UK Reggae's more underrated bands in recent times, this LP proves once again the good ear and musical finesse that Capital Letters possess, as well as their strong politically charged lyrics.

From delicate backing vocals, through to the lazy drum grooves and super-deep basslines, this is UK roots music, late 70's style.
Reminding of early Aswad in terms of productions and song arrangement, their songs are at once catchy, soulful and uplifting - yet they always maintain a conscious, heavy groove and the content and meaning of the music remains serious.

This Album also features the wicked 'Run Run Run' and 'Smoking My Ganja' - so for these reasons alone, this LP is worth adding to your collection.
