One of our favourite roots rhythms from Aggrovators and Bunny Wailer, this time with Horace Andy on vocals -

We can never have enough versions of this killllllerrrrr bassline, and whatever musical accompaniment blesses it. In this case, Horace Andy does a stellar job - you wouldn't expect anything less - with a tale about a woman that tries to use him, rather than love him.
A perfect counteraction to Johnny Clarke's 'Man Like Me' (also on same rhythm, and also reissued here again via the Aggrovator label).

Is that King Tubby at the controls? Definitely Bunny Wailer on intro vocals, if not also on the mixing desk...

Either way - vocal, and version: both absolutely great.
