Serious piece of sound, spread across two discs -

Young gun 'Wen' steps up for his second outing on Keysound recordings, following his badd 'Strings Hoe Refix'.

Ice cold percussion, frosty sparseness and plenty of space for big subs to manoeuvre - it's a new generation of slo-mo grime, taking in influences from all manner of UK dance music, from drum n bass, jungle through to garage and bassline.

Wen's simple, yet effective arrangements and reduced structures leave plenty of space for cleverly edited vocal chops, mainly referencing the pirate radio era of grime, and brilliant attention to pin-point sound sculpture....This kind of attention to detail makes these tracks stand out from the rest...but effectively, it's nu-skool dance music... slowed to a tempo compatible with recent trends... music to be played loud, on a decent soundsystem.

And let's not forget that killer tune with Roll Deep's 'Riko' on vocals.

Very accomplished stuff, don't f*ck with it.

Mastered by Jason at Transition.
Design by John Coulthart.
