Reissued copies of this cool-breeze inducing, sweet-like-sugar lovers rock tune (incl wicked dub) from Sonia - originally out in 1980 on Cha Cha, hard to find for a long time, but now available again, on this 12" disco mix version along with a great Dean Fraser saxophone cut... Or, if you prefer, also on a nice little 7" incl. Overnight Players rhythm on the flip.

Stunner of a tune, this one. Much needed sweetness and nice reminder of the simple things, in a world that often seems like the the bad overweighs the good.

Topside, we get the full 10min discomix (vocal, straight into dub) - letting that lush vocal shine on the first half, and then splash straight into big snares and woozy delays, letting the synthline, melodica, voice and rhodes glide over a that excellent bassline (Nile Rodgers, of Chic fame, no less) and those drums - shouts to the Overnight players (responsible for many hits, such as the infamous Kunta Kinte rhythm, for example).

This one is 100% solid, good-mood music, full of soul, with a big splash of dubwise introspection for extra meditation on that high-grade rhythm.

Wether you're a lover of lovers rock or not... if you ask us, this one's really quite nice indeed.
