Mad Professor! 40 Years of Dub Part 2 is here, with a whole heap of Ariwa gold from the veteran don dadda of dub technique, served up on this LP full of dubwise.

“The first dubs are the deepest.”
Mad Professor, aka Neil Fraser, aka Guyana’s proudest dub export, and a true figurehead of the UK scene since the early 80s, dubwise or otherwise, with all kinds of musicians centred around his mixing board over the years – from Pop Group, Neneh Cherry, Massive Attack, Sade, through to Grace Jones, Macka B, Jah Shaka, Dubkasm and many more – there is a reason why Mad Prof is respected endlessly in the dub scene, but, through his extraordinary mixing desk ‘dub technique’ also further afield, as a producer for music that has come from the British underground, even flirting with the charts at times.

Here, Mad Professor celebrates 40 years of version-excursion, compiled onto one disc in a cool, no-fuss, just DUB kinda way, across 12 cuts that were mixed at his Ariwa Studios in London over the last 40 years or so.

Serious treats, beautiful oddities and depth-charging cuts from a true dub master can be found inside –
press play and watch the ride!
