"Autumns Meets Post-Punkers Uptown" - and we're very down with it!

We're fans of Autumns dubwise industrial movements here, ever since big tunes such as the likes of 'Love Life, Hate Goths' on Opal Tapes, and it's nice to have a full 12" here from the Irish vibesman, served up in very fine style via Touch Sensitive Records, looking and sounding tip-top here on the deck at RWDFWD HQ (played at maximum volume of course).

Right from the start, with 'Restricted Movement' it's clear that this record means business. Proper off-kilter funk on this one, as rubbery synth lines chug around a dancehall rhythm, narrated by feedback vocals in fine style.
The next cut slows the step down a little, in favour of harder beats, more screeching guitar wails and phased hi hats - pure sweat inside.
We could go on like this about each track and tell you that how each one bangs, but to be honest, just take a listen to the clips, have a little read of the info from the label below, and rest assured that each track on this disc delivers the goods -
Pure EBM-tinged, dubwise, dreader-than-dread biz - There's grit, and dirt, but ultimately there's a heartfelt energy and a punkish attitude to this music that is fully infectious and undeniably fun too!

"A couple of years after the Dyslexia Tracks EP, and following a volley of killer releases on labels such as iDEAL, Death & Leisure and Opal Tapes, Autumns returns to Touch Sensitive with perhaps his most complete set to date.

Pitching down the BPM but maintaining the intensity of his recent recorded output and incendiary live shows, Dyslexia Sound System sees Christian Donaghey turn the edit on himself with a grip of eight dub-wave zingers.

Pulling from his love of On-U Sound, The Pop Group, and Public Image Limited, Dyslexia Sound System perfectly fuses dubbed-out dynamics with the tough and unrelenting electronics that has become Autumns' signature sound. Guitars squall, clarinets skronk, vocals echo, roto-toms repeat and - as always with Autumns - rhythm is king.

Dyslexia Sound System is the sickest handbrake turn in Autumns' relentless and wired journey to date."
