How to use the reserve function
If you'd like to purchase items from our site but want to save money on shipping costs, you can use our reserve function to combine your orders over an unlimited period of time, and ship them together for one combined shipping price when you are ready.
Just hit the 'reserve' button at the checkout page as your shipping option when you've finished making your order, and your order will automatically be held in reserve here until you are ready for us to ship everything to you.You can keep as many orders in reserve with us via our site as you like, until you are ready to ship. Just send us an email when you are ready to ship your reserve orders, and we will get in touch with the combined shipping price, or ship for free if you have exceeded the minimum order amount for free shipping to your address.
Can the reserve function be used to get free shipping? Yes - If your combined order total is more than £50 within the UK, over £150 within the EU, or over £225 worldwide, we'll ship your order to you via courier service, for free.

Here's a step by step guide to using it:
1. Click on the account icon to log into your account.
If you don't have an account, please click 'create account' to make one. If you had an account on the old RWDFWD site, please create a new one with the same email address used on the old site - this will ensure your previous orders are brought through to your new account.
2. Add records to your cart as normal.
3. When you're ready to check out, select 'ship'.
4. Then select 'Reserve items' on the shipping method list, then continue to payment.
5. Once payment is complete, your order will show in your account as 'unfulfilled'. We will have put all the products aside in reserve for you to combine with other orders and ship later in bulk.
6. When you're ready to ship all the items you have in reserve, email us on info@rwdfwd.com and we will calculate the shipping due and arrange for payment to be taken.
7. Sit tight and wait for your records to arrive in the post!
Free Shipping?
We offer free shipping on orders over a certain value
UK orders over £50
EU orders over £150
Worldwide over £225
This is automatically applied at checkout and reserve orders also count towards it.
EU Order info
Unfortunately, the UK is no longer part of the EU - This means that certain shipments sent to addresses there from us may be subject to tax and / or import duty - All orders sent from RWDWD are sent ‘DDU’ - That is, duty unpaid - any import tax and/or duty is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
If you would like to use our reserve function to group several orders into one large shipment, we can arrange for it to be sent tax and duty pre-paid so you don’t have to worry about it at a later date - Contact us for more information.
Ello ello, what do we have here?
The lucky 13th RWDFWDMIX, kinda (very loosely) celebrating 13 years of RWDFWD (yep, wtf) with a timeless (and almost lost!) mix from our dear friend and collaborator Miles aka BKV Industrial... The brain behind Bristol/outernational label Bokeh Versions, itself nearing the 10year strong earthday... keep eyes peeled for more to come (also that recent Felinto tape which we have in stock!) and be on the lookout for some exciting tour-type-rehabiliationz with BKV & friends taking over a few stages and basements across this island, and further afield.
So yeah, here we are: RWDFWDMIX013. Who would've thunk it?
We couldn't have wished for anyone else to better fulfill the role of soundtracking the lucky-thirteenth mix for our little tape series, honestly.
In (even more) honesty, there was, maybe still is, a chance this'll be our last ever one of these things... Our souls are a bit knackered from the music industry struggle, but who knows, right now we're clawing back a bit, by way of necessity (the rent is overdue) but also because we just somehow can't stay away from this ol' game here. We do love it to bits really.
Even though it's been pretty tough staying on top of it amongst all that's going on, and the difficulties of running a shop/mailorder remain ever-real... But we do love doing this thing and connecting dots and inhaling / pushing out creations. I guess there's a reason we've been doing it, pretty much nonstop (apart from our recent, first ever, pause) for 13 years now, roughly. Ever since those first boxes of records started clogging up our bedroom, then still juggling it mostly at night and early in the mornings before and after our day job shifts serving falafel and coffees...
Anyway, enough ranting, we did say to ourselves we wouldn't do that again (it's been a while since writing these blurbs, forgive us for the venting)...
If you dig it / us - and we do know some of you do! ...love ya...
Please feel free to grab a copy of this - take our word for it please - FUCKIN' EXCELLENT tape mix and support us all in our mission to save our little office/studio space here in Bristol, and let's give it one last blast at the very least.
Maybe even tell a friend, or just buy more stuff from our site, to pass on to mates or whatever. If you can manage it. No pressure of course. Times are not easy, we do know that.
Anyway, back to the most important thing: the music!
Packed onto these tape reels, we get two, in our opinion, already- iconic sides.
One was recorded at dear Bristol - sorry I mean Shibuya! - club 'Cosies' in 2017.
This one somehow falls right into the BKV Industrial sound leading up to 2K25 (whatever that is) - surfing a tumultuous wave between Bauhaus, Dj Scud, TNT Roots and DJ Wonder. (Imagine that lineup on a chunky soundsystem, jesus).
Flip the tape, and we enter 'The Crystal World' where Atki2 and Seekersinternational meet at The Bell, and where Elysia Crampton and Kush Arora sit down for a pint (of music) at Zoggs, with Jay Glass Dubs making sure the froth is right on that guinness head, or at least offering a dubbed out taste of Rum & Raki instead.
There's even a tracklist insert to go with this tape, the perfect map for all you trainspotters out there.
Artwork, as always, comes from the honourable Alex Digard, Studio Tape-Echo.
Flexing that RWDFWDMIX style in a shrewd way.
Yes the tape & insert combo is pink and purple, but we'll forgive him in our eternal gratefulness for his being a core part of the RWDFWD machine and for having orchestrated countless visual stunners for us over the years (releases as well as shop graphics, pics etc)
If this is the last you hear from us, then we'd like to just say:
Thanks!Enjoy The Music.
+ take care of each other, and don't be strangers when it comes to supporting each other.
