Tribal warfare, drum machine assault by William Bennet, aka Cut Hands, on the Dirter Label -

A couple years after the 'Afro Noise' volumes 1 and 2, surfaced, combining the raw rhythmic qualities of african music and harsh, rigid aesthetics of industrial techno and noise music -
William Bennet continues to push this definite sound with this project, moving on from his Records out on Blackest Ever Black and Downwards...

Described by the label as “a reclamation of the conscious through 16 pieces”, the two vinyl LPs 'Volume 3' and 'Volume 4' are comprised of reworked and remastered versions of previously released vinyl tracks like “Madwoman”, “Immersion”, “Eat Them Like Bread”, “Inchantment”, and “Black Mamba”, as well as tracks from the Black Mamba CD not yet released on wax.

The outcome of this set of tracks is almost spiritual, and meditative whilst often completely foreign and estranged - even deranged - the skewed vocal samples and gargantuan drum hits spit through a mesh of unpredictable, yet decisive rhythm, creating something that is sonically far removed from western music, yet familiar in execution...

Volume 3 and 4 should certainly be listened to at high decibels for full appreciation.
Although this could pass as a home-listening record, it's vast tempo and pattern range make it a certified secret weapon in DJ sets, believe us - in the mix, the outcome can be deadly.
