Death Is Not The End come forward with another archival 'mixtape-style' gem, cutting and pasting a high-grade selection of clips from tapes recorded live at soundsystems playing during London's legendary Notting Hill Carnival.

The recordings originate between 1984 and 1988, featuring sounds from the likes of Jamdown Rockers, Saxon, Java Nuclear Power, Killerwatt Turbotronic, Stereograph, Sir Coxsone, Volcano Express, King Tubbys and more >>

All-star soundsystem crews playing in a time that is arguably one of the most explosive and interesting turning points in reggae and dancehall music out of Jamaica and the UK.
This tape makes up part of the Death is Not The End 10th anniversary series, and it was played on NTS around 2018 - but let's face it, this makes most sense in your tape player, as a continuation of the same cassette culture that manifested these recordings back in the day. Shouts to all tape warriors!
