Vivacious steel drum disco backed with a wicked re-work on the flip!

Brought to us by the same label that reissued the amazing Sheriff Lindo - Aftershock Dubs LP, EM Records have unearthed another gem here in the form of this steel drum funk & disco, with the mad-good 'Hair Stylistics Re-Edit' on the flip - make sure you give it a proper listen!

Originally out in 1977, this is rhythm presented in the highest order - tight percussion, fluid strings and fresh-as-spring-water vocal styles.

In previously unreleased 'extended mix' - John Gibbs and the U.S. Steel Orchestra lay down the foundations for the A Side, which we find in updated form, racking up a whole 9mins of completely chopped and edited dancefloor versioning on the flip, to great effect, by 'Masaya Nakahara a.k.a. 'Hair Stylistics.

We're big fans of these sporadic and eclectic reissues that EM have been supplying, and this is another special record, for sure.
A real treat in the collection and quite possibly a very fine DJ weapon too.

Printed sleeve.
Originally released in 1977, remastered for this release by Takuto Kuratani.
Cover art by Masaya Nakahara.
