We got our hands on another diamond from the Krikor Kouchian documentary soundtrack-verse of recent time - this one came out in '24, pressed up on wax for full rotation on the home hi fi. + Digital download with 4 bonus tracks and it comes with a nice patch in a high grade printed sleeve with card inner too.

"Music for Marty is the original soundtrack from the documentary 'Martin Scorsese, The Italian-American' directed by Yal Sadat and Camille Juza. "

For anyone that loved the 'Adversary OST' tape we had here on our site a couple weeks ago (gone in a flash), and want more of Krikor's bleak-euphoric arrangements (sign us up!) - this Music For Marty soundtrack will scratch that itch.

Throughout the 18 tracks - we sway through a coherent mood of noir-ish, left-leaning soundtrack cinematics that go through a swell and ebb of emotions, a growing mass of major/minor string sounds and paranoid, yet subtle electronics to add a certain touch of intrigue and unease as we float and sink into a warped, dubbed haze - at times lightweight and at times supercharged - certainly feeling grandios and high-definition at times and loaded with a satisfying amount of dread and drama, but thankfully in a much more raw and earnest than some bait Hans Zimmer HD soundtrack for 3D glasses - Krikor comes very correct with this one too - it straddles perfectly fine line between 'music for film', but easily depicts enough mind-imagery to hold it's own as a record, just for listening to, in a dark room with the sound up ideally. It's quite the experience to be honest!

Very strong and potent stuff! Yes krikor.
Thanks for getting us these LPs, and not least thanks for supporting us with a nice price, so we can pass that on to you as well - last chance to snag one of these gems before they're all gone!
