PLEASE NOTE - THESE ARE ORIGINAL PRESS COPIES FROM 1993 - SLEEVES ON THESE ARE DAMAGED AND A BIT 'WAVY'. PLAYS FINE THOUGH!

And another piece of history from the Blakamix HQ, this one landed direct from the boss Dennis 'Mixman' Bedeau, and it's another unearthing from the vaults of one of the most crucial operations in the UK's soundsystem scene, from the late 80's onwards.

This LP 'African Gold' is filled with great dubs from various vocal cuts that came out of the Blakamix studio in the early 90's. These are right up there with some of the best dubs to come out of the Blakamix Studio... The dub version to D. Maximillian's crucial 'My Story', for example, or that real nice dub of Special A's voice on 'One Drop Power', a refreshing bit of female energy which can often feel a bit 'left aside' in reggae music.

Keep an eye on our site for lots, and lots more rare Mixman / Blakamix material to surface on the site soon... Including a few special cassette tape releases from the 90's that are not even listed on discogs. Stay tuned.
