Unearthed Proto-hardcore from the mysterious Muslimgauze, along with remix plus percussive cuts from Underspreche -

Absolute killer disc here by JD Twitch's Optimo Trax, bringing back some of Muslimgauze's finest work from the vaults, along with a fresh remix and a great set of contrasting club cuts from Italy's Male/Female 'Underspreche'.

Four tracks on this disc (cut notably loud btw!) each one tuned right up for the dancefloor.
Apparently made in 1985 (hence the title) this production was unearthed by label-boss JD Twitch from a time over 20 years ago, when he had a connection with Bryn Jones, who would apparently send him CDRs with unreleased tunes after getting booked to play up in Scotland for the first and only time in his life.

Either way, if this was made in 1985 it shows that Muslimgauze once again was ahead of his time with this cut, pre-dating the hardcore boom of late 80's / early 90's by a few years with this killer breakbeat choppige.
Next up on the A side, we find a remix by Shan & Gerd Janson, who ramp it right up for the rave, with nasty hoover and a pumped up rhythm, sure to send the dancefloor into a bit of a frenzy!

On the AA side, Underspreche give us a percussive workout, sampling Honest Jon's brilliant 'Mukunguni' Compilation (also available here by the way y'all) and hitting an odd-space somewhere between Sofrito and Ricardo Villalobos... Infectious african vocals and soundscapes drift over an unnervingly jangled 4 x 4 rhythm and haunting frequencies.
For the final choice of this disc, Underspreche gear things up another notch, club friendlier gear -
It's all about the first three cuts though!

Nice history, nicely presented - a versatile disc that is sure to sound heavy in the dance!
