Frankfurt's very own Orson Wells drops another trio of soulful, leftfield and lo-fi electro cuts on his own Sound Mirror label.

There is literally no hype, no bloated press sheets or posed photos to back this up, just a hand stamped, imported white label run that we are super happy to have our hands on. Opening with the technicolor dreamscapes of  'GITS' which laces a broken drum loop with saturated pads and sparkling lead lines. The title track 'Miss U' finishes this side, if you've heard any of his previous records you'll well know that introspective minor chords are his signature and this cut is no exception - add to that a looped breakbeat and some gently distorted kick drums and you're off into outer space for one hell of a trip.

'Red Planet' gets the B-side all to itself, a lengthy machine funk jam filled with glowing chords and cosmic leads that'll work total magic when played at the right time...

If you hadn't already noticed, we're a bit keen on this one, it comes with glowing recommendations from all corners of the office, get it in your record bag! Fans of Greg Beato and the like will be all over this one.
