Parris on a M32 link-up with Idle Hands -

Badman Dwayne Parris is up next, adding to the inimitable Idle Hands catalogue with what is probably his finest set of tunes to date.

Proper elasticated steppers business on this disc, with the aptly titled 'Burr' mirrored by 'Blue' on the flip.

It's hard to pin this record down to one genre - always a good thing.
We can hear influences from the lineage of London's FWD nights in here, as well as a patience and restraint akin to Berlin's finest, but one thing is for sure... This is soundsystem music.

The all important bassline leads the way here, sparse rhythms and driplets of ear candy are here to add some sugar and spice to that mean, bumping low-end, it's got all the introspective qualities we've come to expect from a good garage mutation, but y'all know it's all about moving the body to this one.

This one comes thoroughly recommended.

No-nonsense body music for all the DJ's and Dancers out there, but that said, this one would go down a treat in the late night smokey hour too.
