Ranking Tiger ‎– Why Can't You Leave The Dread Locks Alone

Jah Fingers

Regular price
Ranking Tiger on this stepping, deep roots cut from the late 70's -

Jah Fingers got their, erm, fingers on another supreme piece of roots from around 1978, with Ranking Tiger coming correct with the chat on the microphone, a message of black power and rasta rights.
Musically, it's a very full composition, the spectrum is filled with an accomplished balance of guitar, horns, rhodes, drum and bass... A lot of call & response between the instruments, a real mellow piece, giving the vocal message a pensive feel, but the pacey drums keep the importance and energy uptight.

Very deep, very nice roots, with a killer dub.
