Legendary Bristol label Tectonic Recordings mark 20 years of pressure with their big 'Tectonic Sound' compilation, physically spread out onto six lavishly packaged and designed 12"s spanning 24 tracks, with design from o.g. RWDFWD crew Alex Digard aka Studio Tape-Echo.

From pioneering the darker side of dubstep, grime and techno mutations from Bristol and beyond, through to kaleidoscopic tekkers and bass-heavy mutations in the years to follow, Pinch has kept the Tectonic label consistently pushing forward, whilst keeping true to it's roots of UK soundsystem mutation, not least informed by the legendary Dubloaded and Subloaded nights here in Bristol, which channelled some of the best dubstep>> sessions over the years. Too many big tunes and big moments have arisen from the legacy of Tectonic Records and the crew it represents - Most of you will have been shaking a leg to some of the classics over the years, or got your head spun by the label's output - but just in case you're fresh to all this - this is not a bad starting place! Get locked in and cop a piece of wax for ultimate levels.

We managed to get our hands on a few copies of the limited wax, dropped off directly by Pinch here to our HQ, ready to ship out >>
